Espoo central park

We live at Amy's finger.  Size wise this is the equivalent of a MN state park.  You can see how the roads come to the edge but not into the park.  You can walk half way across that map in about 45m.  The lines within the park are gravel trails.  There are off road trails between the gravel trails also through the trees and rocks. You can also see how the bus stops along those roads on the edge and how the neighborhoods border the nature area so it is accessible to all that housing.  The population of Espoo is 272K, so do not make the mistake of thinking those neighborhoods are not densely populated.

For those who get excited to involve logs in their mid jog exercise routine, Finland is the place.  Squat, military press, inclined sit-up, pull-up, dip, they got you covered.

I judge places to break from hiking based on the clouds you see once laying down.  This method has a near 100% success rate in finding a good place to rest.

Mostly the gravel trails go between rocky hills like this one.
