The front of our house/apartment/whatever you want to call it. We are on the end of a row, so we don't have any neighbors to the left. We met the neighbors on the right. He sings opera and she is a cellist. They have 2 kids ages 8 and 5. We haven't heard a sound from their side, so hopefully they don't hear us yelling or the dogs barking. ;) The walls are concrete between us, so I am pretty sure they don't...

This is our backyard looking to the left.  Behind the bushes is a row of parking spots.  The one on the end isn't being used, and then ours is the second one in.  It's super convenient- especially compared to how far some of the other tenants have to walk to get to their cars.
This is the other side of our backyard, taken from roughly the same spot as the last photo.  It's a small yard, but it gives the dogs some bushes to keep watered and there are paths everywhere; most of them are gravel like the one you can see here.

Abby and Darby rollerblading on our street.

Vivian and Lizzy trying hard to look annoyed with each other  ;)

The first day of school this year.  Anna is in 10th grade at Ressun Lukio, one of the oldest schools in Finland.  The other girls are all going to International School of Helsinki; Lucia is in 8th, Darby is in 6th and Lizzy and Vivian are in 4th grade.
